Privacy policy.

This is the privacy policy for aifluency101.com, the website of AI Fluency, a Westchester, NY consulting practice run by Carlos Sanchez. I built this page myself, and I wrote it in plain English on purpose. If you read it and have a question, email me at carlos@aifluency101.com.

What information I collect from the website

The only way the website collects information from you is through the inquiry form on the home page (the "Tell me the one thing" form). When you submit that form, you give me:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The name of your business or your role
• How you'd like me to reach you (email, phone, or text)
• A short description of the problem you're describing
• Which industry from the dropdown you were viewing, and which workflow (if any) you clicked into — captured automatically so I know what you were exploring when you wrote me

I do not collect anything you didn't type or click into a form yourself. There is no analytics tracking, no advertising pixels, no third-party visitor tracking on this site as of the effective date above.

What I do with it

When you submit the form, three things happen:

1. The submission lands in my Gmail inbox so I can read it personally
2. An automatic thank-you email is sent back to you, addressed by name, confirming I received it
3. The submission is stored in Netlify Forms (the service I use to receive form data) and Zapier (the service that sends the thank-you email)

I read every submission myself. I usually respond within 24 to 48 hours with a real reply: what I'd build for the friction you described, why I think it'd work, and what it'd cost. Or, if I don't think AI is the right answer for what you described, I'll tell you that too.

Who else sees it

Your submission passes through these companies' systems as part of the flow above:

• Netlify — hosts the website and receives form submissions. Netlify Privacy Policy
• Zapier — triggers the automatic thank-you email from your form submission. Zapier Privacy Policy
• Google (Gmail) — the inbox where I read your message and the account that sends the thank-you reply. Google Privacy Policy

I do not sell your information. I do not share your information with marketers, partners, contractors, or third parties beyond the three services listed above. I do not use your information for advertising or for any purpose other than responding to your inquiry and the conversation that follows.

If we end up working together, a separate written agreement (the Foundation Install Agreement) will govern what happens with your business data.

How long I keep your information

I keep inquiry submissions in my Gmail and in Netlify Forms indefinitely, as part of normal business records, unless you ask me to delete them.

If you'd like me to delete your submission and any related correspondence, email me at carlos@aifluency101.com. I will delete everything I can find within 14 days and reply to confirm.

Cookies and tracking

The website uses a small number of functional cookies set by Netlify to make the site work (for example, to remember form-state across page reloads). These cookies do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising or analytics.

The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any other third-party tracking. If I add any of these in the future, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change.

Children

The website is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you're a parent and you believe your child has submitted the form, email me and I will delete the entry.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws (such as the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information). You can exercise any of these rights by emailing me at carlos@aifluency101.com. I will respond within 14 days.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will update the effective date at the top. Material changes (changes that affect how your information is collected, used, or shared) will be flagged in a brief notice on this page for at least 30 days.
